Featured Matchup
Mississippi Panthers (4-1)
Home: 2-0 • Last Week: Won 48-0 at Tennessee
Texas Elite Spartans (5-0)
Away: 2-0 • Last Week: Won 40-6 vs Kansas City
The game of the week is a Week 1 rematch as undefeated Texas Elite returns to Mississippi in a Central Division showdown with major playoff implications. The Spartans edged the Panthers 14-6 in their season opener back on March 28, and both teams have evolved significantly since that defensive struggle. Texas Elite has been dominant on both sides of the ball, allowing just 18 points all season while averaging 35.2 points per game. Whitney Palmer leads the league with 7 sacks, and Michelle Angel has thrown 10 touchdown passes. Mississippi counters with a balanced attack led by Regena Jackson's 579 passing yards and a defense that has allowed only 29 points in five games. The Panthers are perfect at home this season and hungry for revenge, setting up a classic battle between two teams who have met in the IX Cup twice.

Featured Matchup
San Diego Rebellion (4-1)
Home: 2-0 • Last Week: Idle
Utah Falconz (5-0)
Away: 2-0 • Last Week: Won 26-20 vs Seattle
In a matchup of the Western Conference's top teams, undefeated Utah visits San Diego in what could be a playoff preview. The Falconz showed their championship mettle last week, rallying from a 20-6 third quarter deficit to beat Seattle with a game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. Gina Mondragon has been nearly unstoppable with 50 points scored this season. San Diego counters with a stingy defense that has allowed just 39 points in five games and a balanced offense. The Rebellion have won three straight over the Falconz dating back to 2023 and are perfect at home this season. Utah will look to end that losing streak and prove they can win on the road against elite competition in this critical Western Conference showdown.
6:00 PM EST - May 16
Washington Prodigy (4-1)
Home: 1-1 • Last Week: Won 57-0 vs Jersey Shore
Florida Avengers (2-3)
Away: 1-1 • Last Week: Idle
Washington looks to build on their dominant 57-point shutout as they host Florida in Atlantic Division play. The Prodigy offense has been explosive, averaging 32.2 points per game behind Ashley Clark's 614 passing yards and Shaquanda Gainey's big-play ability. The Avengers are looking to get back on track after their bye week and improve their 2-3 record. Florida will need to contain Washington's aerial attack while finding offensive rhythm against a defense that recorded two interceptions last week.
6:00 PM PST - May 16
Los Angeles Legends (3-2)
Home: 1-1 • Last Week: Idle
Golden State Storm (3-2)
Away: 1-1 • Last Week: Idle
Pacific Division rivals meet in Los Angeles with both teams coming off their bye week at 3-2. This matchup could have significant implications for playoff positioning as the division race heats up. The Legends rely on a balanced attack with Annsleigh Anderson (322 passing yards) and Jazmin Gamble-Tello (234 rushing yards, 3 TDs). Golden State counters with a record-breaking defensive presence led by Leilani Caamal, who has already shattered the WNFC single-season tackles record with 78 combined stops through just five games, breaking the previous WNFC record of 73. The Storm will look to slow down the Legends' multi-faceted offense while establishing their own running game in this crucial division battle.
6:00 PM PST - May 16
Las Vegas Silver Stars (0-5)
Home: 0-2 • Last Week: Lost 28-21 at Oregon
Kansas City Glory (3-2)
Away: 0-2 • Last Week: Lost 40-6 at Texas Elite
Kansas City travels to Las Vegas looking to bounce back from their loss to Texas Elite and secure their first road victory of the season. The Glory feature Maria Fautali, who leads the league with 60 points and 9 touchdowns, and will face a winless Silver Stars team still searching for their first victory. Las Vegas showed fight last week in a 28-21 loss to Oregon, with Thaycha Rodriguez throwing for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Silver Stars need to protect their home field and get in the win column before the season slips away.
6:00 PM PST - May 16
Seattle Majestics (0-5)
Home: 0-2 • Last Week: Lost 26-20 vs Utah
Oregon Ravens (2-3)
Away: 0-2 • Last Week: Won 28-21 vs Las Vegas
Seattle looks to avoid a winless season as they host Oregon in a Week 2 rematch of Northwest Division action. The Ravens edged the Majestics 18-14 earlier in the season. The Majestics have been competitive despite their 0-5 record, holding a 20-6 third quarter lead against Utah before ultimately falling 26-20. Adriana Gutierrez has been a bright spot with 320 rushing yards on the season. Oregon is seeking their first road win behind a strong rushing attack led by Whitney Gifford (209 yards) and Chloe Porter (226 yards). The Ravens defense will need to contain Gutierrez to secure the division victory.
4:00 PM EST - May 16
Jersey Shore Wave (1-4)
Home: 0-2 • Last Week: Lost 57-0 at Washington
Chicago Winds (1-4)
Away: 0-2 • Last Week: Lost 14-0 vs Atlanta
Two struggling teams meet as Jersey Shore hosts Chicago in a crucial game for both clubs looking to end the season on a high note. The Wave are still searching for their first home victory after being shut out 57-0 last week, while the Winds have dropped four straight and have yet to win on the road. Karen Mulligan leads the league with 780 passing yards for Jersey Shore, but the team has managed just 46 total points through five games. Chicago's defense will look to contain Mulligan and force turnovers to get their offense going.
