Week 4 was a week of statements. The Atlanta Truth responded to their Week 3 loss to Mississippi by hanging a season-high 62 points on the Florida Avengers — with Kendra Gabriel rushing for 79 yards and 3 touchdowns and Ebony Minter adding 97 yards and 2 more on the ground. The Washington Prodigy weren't far behind, erupting for 59 points against Jersey Shore as Keena Samuels turned in one of the most jaw-dropping performances of the season: 141 rushing yards on just 5 carries, a 28.2-yard average, and 3 touchdowns. In Arlington, Texas Elite extended their perfect start to 3-0 with a 28-0 shutout of Chicago — their first of the year — behind Michelle Angel's 180 passing yards and 4 touchdowns. Utah stayed unbeaten at 3-0 with a hard-fought 26-19 win over Las Vegas. Three teams now sit atop the standings without a loss, and the race to the playoffs is wide open heading into Week 5.

GAME OF THE WEEK

San Diego shut out Golden State 36-0 in their Week 1 opener, and the Storm have been on a mission ever since — winning two of their last three as an expansion franchise. The undefeated Rebellion host a Storm team that will be hungry to prove how far they've come since that first meeting. San Diego's defense has been stifling, allowing just 6.3 points per game (second-best in the WNFC), while Golden State boasts the league's leading tackler in Leilani Caamal (46 combined). Kris Grimes and the Storm ground game will need to find room against Brittani Lusain (28 tackles, 6 TFL) and the Rebellion's swarming front. This game could decide the Pacific Division.

Los Angeles Legends
2-1
vs
Utah Falconz
3-0
6:00 PM PST

Another cross-division clash with major implications as the undefeated Falconz visit Los Angeles. Utah has been quietly dominant behind Gina Mondragon's 267 rushing yards and a defense that just held Las Vegas to 19 points. The Legends counter with Meagan Curtis (205 rush yds, 4 TD) and quarterback Annsleigh Anderson, who has stepped in for injured starter Marissa Lopez. LA will need to be sharper than their Week 2 loss to San Diego if they want to knock off a 3-0 team.

Mississippi Panthers
2-1
vs
Florida Avengers
1-2
7:00 PM CST

Mississippi returns home well-rested after a Week 4 bye, looking to build on the momentum of their dramatic comeback victory in Atlanta. Sckiya Banister (200 rush yds, 14.3 YPC, 3 TD) and Shardonay Jenkins (4.5 sacks) have emerged as the Panthers' biggest weapons. Florida is reeling after a 62-2 loss to Atlanta — the worst defeat of the season — and will need a complete turnaround to compete with Mississippi's defense, which has allowed just 9.7 points per game.

Tennessee Trojans
0-3
vs
Texas Elite Spartans
3-0
5:00 PM CST

Tennessee hosts the league's top-ranked team, still searching for their first points of the season after being outscored 77-0 through three games. Texas Elite has been dominant on both sides of the ball, allowing a league-low 4.0 points per game while Michelle Angel has thrown for 281 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Spartans should be heavy favorites, but the Trojans' defense — led by Dionna Jackson-Ross (3.0 sacks) and Allyssa Weatherd (30 tackles, 5.5 TFL) — is far better than their record suggests.

Chicago Winds
1-2
vs
Washington Prodigy
2-1
5:00 PM CST

Chicago hosts Washington in a must-win for the Winds, who have dropped two straight — including a 28-0 shutout to Texas Elite. Sarah Teubner has thrown for 269 yards and 4 touchdowns on the season but was held to just 49 yards against the Spartans. Washington arrives riding high after their 59-point explosion against Jersey Shore, with Keena Samuels (273 rush yds, 4 TD) leading a potent attack. The Prodigy's offense will test a Chicago defense that has allowed 52 points in their last two games.
